If you’re looking to grab a few beers or a meal at a casual place, then N3 Taphouse should be up there on your list. The beer selection is really more extensive than I would have expected, with 30 rotating taps that feature Craft beers, meads, and ciders from Colorado, as well as other states. If you have someone who prefers wine or cocktails, then they’re in luck too. Take a look at their beverages page for a more complete list.

One amusing thing I’ll mention about the tap list (which is on Untappd.com) is that they have broken it up into three sections; The first section lists the Colorado beers and is titled “Native”, next is the beers brewed in the rest of the United States, “The Other 49”, finally they list Bud Light and Coors Light in a special section titled “Water”. Gotta love that kind of sense of humor.

We haven’t yet had anything from the quite impressive food menu, but that’s something I’m going to have to rectify soon. Bulgogi lettuce wraps? Yes please. The wide variety includes mussels, steaks, fish tacos, kabobs, Tuna, and some Mediterranean offerings, and they all sound very appetizing.

The taphouse was built in an old fire station, and the decoration is just awesome. Seating seems plentiful, and there’s even a space upstairs that we haven’t ventured into yet.

The staff and service was just great. Really. Jesse didn’t care much for one of the beers he ordered, and Scott had the wrong beer poured, although it turns out he loved it, and although we didn’t make mention of either as a complaint, the bartender didn’t charge them for either. The bartender almost seemed like he was part our group and just happened to be behind the bar.
