Rock Bottom (COS) Dinner

My wife and I had the opportunity to have dinner sans the kids last night and chose to go Rock Bottom. Of course, the fact that I could get a glass of beer helped in my decision making process.

White Ale Belgian Wheat – 6.4% ABV, 20 IBU – I loved this beer. My wife even liked this beer. As I said in the last post (Phantom Canyon January Visit), I think I may be becoming a fan-boy of Belgian beers (I’m going to have to mindful of how I declare that henceforth. “Phrasing” as Archer would say). The description in the menu states:

Classic Belgian Wheat ale spiced with coriander and sweet orange peel.

That described it to a “T”. It has a rather thin texture and the color is that of a good wheat beer, rather hazy. You can definitely taste the coriander and the orange finish (with a slightly boozy taste) is great.
