Pressure Fermented Homebrew American Lager Recipe and Review (All Grain / No Chill)

As a bonus, in addition to the recipe and review, Jesse illuminates us on some of the terms for adjunct rice and corn, and how to perform your own cereal mash.
Jesse has been on a lager kick lately, and wanted to brew up something light, that non-craft beer aficionados would also enjoy. This beer falls into category 1B of the 2021 BJCP Guidelines.


If you wanted to try your hand at brewing something where any flaws are going to be obvious, then this is the beer to try.


Really, it turned out very well. It was a bit low on carbonation, and if it had the right amount of carbonation then the carbonic bite would take away some of the sweetness. Even better, is that with pressure fermentation, he didn’t have to maintain any low temperatures for fermentation, and brew day was a little faster since he was able to use the no chill method.
