Mark II Keg Washer – Homebrew Equipment Review

Also known as Mark’s Keg Washer, you can find their website here https://kegwasher.com/
Mike scored this keg washer second hand, as a matter of fact it was given to him when he picked up some ball lock kegs from someone who was selling some of their equipment before a move. He never thought that a keg washer would be all that useful, but after having one at his disposal he’ll never go without one now.

Not needing to make a whole batch of sanitizer really helps to slow down your use of sanitizer, not to mention the time saved if you don’t have to make a small batch of it. The connection that goes on the liquid tube of kegs helps you to have confidence that the keg is clean. Who knows what really grows in those long liquid tubes, and they’re nearly impossible to get clean unless you have a specialized brush. Another bonus to cleaning your kegs this way is that you don’t need to disassemble the posts to get at that tube.

It’s really nice to have this keg washer set up on a brew day, once you clean out all the buckets you can just pop them on the keg washer and make sure they are sanitized before you put them up to dry.

In any case, the keg washer, at the time of this release, is about $100, and Mike things it’s worth it.
