Lil Orphan Orange – Citra Wheat Ale

This light straw colored wheat beer was pretty tasty. From my experience with Metric’s beers, any added flavors are usually understated, generally complimenting the beer rather than overwhelming it. In the case of Lil Orphan Orange, I think it may have been just a little more indistinct than optimal.
There’s a hint of orange flavor there, but not as strong as I would have liked. Still, I like wheat beer, so I enjoyed it nevertheless.
