Homebrew Update – November 2020
We’ve spent so much time lately talking about various beer related topics, that we didn’t feel like we’ve mentioned our homebrew projects recently. Yes, amongst all the other beers we sample, we find time to make and sample some of our own delicious homebrew.
This episode we taste three different homebrew concoctions, and you can find the recipes below.
Sweet Mutt – Honey Nut Brown Ale
Sweet Mutt is a staple at Mike’s house, it was one of his first recipes, and he’s brewed it 3 different times this summer. It’s a favorite to make a good yeast starter for a bigger beer. Having made several pretty big beers this year, it’s been on tap quite a bit.
The next two recipes were made for a beer swap Jesse and I decided on doing. We both made a smaller beer, although Jesse’s wasn’t very small at all, and used the yeast cake to make a big beer, and we’ll give each other half of our finished batches.
Warning: Contains BPA – Belgian Pale Ale
Mild mannered – English Dark Mild Ale
