DIY Stir Plate Project

Jesse was sitting around looking at some computer parts that he had, and decided he was going to build his own stir plate.
The parts he used are listed below, and they end up totaling about $32, but you end up with enough magnets to build 15 stir plates, and this is one powerful stir plate. Here’s the links to the parts:

Jesse was brave enough to do an on camera assembly, and wouldn’t you know it, something went wrong. First, we mixed up the polarity of the magnets, which we specifically warned against, and then we place the magnets too far apart. In the end though, we ended up with a kick ass stir plate!
