We first were introduced to Cogstone when Mike and I were looking for the “perfect spot” to play Pub Trivia. It turns out that Cogstone hosts Geeks Who Drink (Wednesdays at 7:00 PM) so we decided to give the “new place” a try. We were not disappointed. The beer is top notch, the staff is extremely friendly and the have some of the best pizza in town (don’t get me started on the duck fat fries).

Jesse summed it up perfectly. I just wanted to add that Mark and / or Robert, have a real knack for brewing some fine vegetable beers. We tried their Chips and Salsa beer, a couple of years back at the All Colorado Beer Festival, and it just blew me away. It tasted like Salsa up front, and finished with a corn chip taste. They were just about out of it, but they brew it every year for Cinco de mayo.
In May of this year (2018) they won a Bronze medal in the World Beer cup for their Beet Cream Ale.
No, that isn’t a typo. Beet Cream Ale. It was delicious. Granted, your opinion will probably hinge on what you think of beets in general.
