English Honey Brown Homebrew Recipe and Review
Happy Homebrew Wednesday!
For this recipe, Jesse wanted to see what would happen if he added honey malt instead of actual honey. Honey, and most of the other simple sugars ferment out, and don’t leave much of their flavor behind.
Mike thought it did in fact have a honey flavor, and was missing a character that he normally gets from beers made with simple sugar adjuncts, like honey or maple syrup. It’s a tasty beer that I think most people would want to have hanging out in their keezer or kegerator.
