Pre-Prohibition Lager ProAm Experience Recipe and Interview
In this episode we’re talking with John about his beer, and the experience of brewing on a professional level. You may remember from our Roggenbier Episode (https://youtu.be/O_-bhqeAFys), as well as when we mentioned him in our El Paso County Homebrew Competition results video. John’s Pre-Prohibition Lager was selected during that competition to be brewed on a pro scale by Donovan at Black Forest Brewing.
John’s beer was recently released at Black Forest, on the anniversary of the last day of prohibition, and Mike and Jesse were both able to go to the release and sample it, and it was awesome! As a added Bonus, John was willing to share the recipe! You can find it here:

This episode we also have Tommy and Emily on the show with us. They are new members to our club, jumped on board with the committee, and recently came back from a Pennsylvania Trip with some beers for us. We filmed all of the episodes in one night, and they were willing to be in this video as well.
The tasting / review episodes of the beers that Tommy and Emily brought back with them will be coming out in the near future, and as a bonus, John joined in on those too. I mean, who’s going to pass up a beer tasting?
