Stout Review – Mostly East Coast Stout Tasting

This episode we’re tasting:
– Trve Brewing Stout O)))) – 5.8% ABV – Denver, CO
Yes, the name of the stout is “Stout O))))”, we’re not making this up. Although we may be able to complain about the name, the beer is outstanding.

– 2SP Brewing Company- Wawa Winter Reserve Coffee Stout 6% 35 IBU – Aston, PA
It probably would have helped if we were familiar with the Wawa winter reserve coffee, but we found this beer delicious none the less.

– Yards Chocolate Love Stout 6.9% 30 IBU – Philadelphia, PA

I know it’s been a minute since we’ve released a video, but hopefully we’re back in the routine now. Unfortunately we recorded an episode, and lost it to a technology problem, so we’ve made some changes to our recording setup.

It turns out Jesse misspoke about the company he thought was closing up, it wasn’t Yards, but in fact Stoudt’s. Evidently the comment that the owner was just packing it up and leaving was a bit wrong as well, it sounds like there’s more to it than that. Apologies to everyone involved, that’s what happens when you rely on your memory.
